The Qualcomm® Linux platform is enabled with power and thermal features that allow you to
monitor, and optimize power consumption, and keep the platform's junction temperature
            within limit.

- **[Overview](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-70014-30/topic/poweroverview.html)**

This guide outlines the features you can configure to meet your platform's power and thermal goals.
- **[Getting started](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-70014-30/topic/get-started.html)**

This information explains how to get started with developing your software using the Qualcomm Linux platform. Before you begin, set up your infrastructure as described in the [Qualcomm Linux Build Guide](https://docs.qualcomm.com/bundle/publicresource/topics/80-70014-254/introduction.html). This guide also provides information about the common build workflows.
- **[Architecture](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-70014-30/topic/architecture.html)**

The CPU subsystem architecture describes the organization of CPU cores and their power domains. Understanding the architecture, helps you to monitor the CPU core usage and make decisions to balance your platform's power consumption, and performance.
- **[Power states and features](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-70014-30/topic/powerfeatures.html)**

The power saving states, also referred to as sleep states enable you to review the power states before, during, and after running an application. The process ensures a comprehensive power sanity check of the platform.
- **[SoC reference power measurement](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-70014-30/topic/socpowermeasurement.html)**

The SoC power measurement encompasses SoC Sleep state power, and CPU active power at different performance levels.
- **[Debug](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-70014-30/topic/powerdebug.html)**

To enhance the power efficiency of the Linux platform, it is crucial to optimize the power consumption of both the SoC, and the CPU.
