# Getting started

This guide provides instructions on how to start developing your software using Qualcomm Linux.

Before you begin, set up your infrastructure as described in the [Qualcomm Linux Build Guide](https://docs.qualcomm.com/bundle/publicresource/topics/80-70017-254/introduction.html).
The Linux build guide discusses the common build workflows. To analyze and fix boot issues, use the boot build section in the build guide for installation, compilation, and debugging.

This guide provides a detailed description of the booting process. For additional information related to the booting process see the following documents.
