# Hardware SoCs

Qualcomm^®^ Linux^®^ is a single Linux distribution for many system-on-chip (SoCs) on a variety of development and evaluation kits.

To set up and connect the required development kit or the evaluation kit to Linux®, Windows®, and macOS® host computers to run multimedia and AI sample applications, see [Development kits](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-70030-115/topic/dev-kits.html#dev-kits). For example, the Dragonwing RB3 Gen 2 Development Kit supports QCS6490 and QCS5430 SoCs.
