# Set up your development environment

Before you begin, set up your infrastructure as described in the [Qualcomm Linux Build Guide](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-70030-254/topic/introduction.html).

The Linux build guide discusses the common build workflows. To analyze and fix boot issues, use the [Build firmware](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-70030-254/topic/build_addn_info.html#build-firmware) section in the build guide.
