# IQ8 Series

The Qualcomm Dragonwing^TM^ IQ8 Series Platform SoCs, deliverings power-efficient compute and on-device AI, including GenAI,  for industrial applications such programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Gateways, Edge AI boxes, human machine interfaces (HMIs), and more. Alongside built-in safety reliability features, design flexibility, additional real-time cores, this SoC is capable of handling heavy workloads in the demanding industrial environments. It supports long-term use with multi-OS compatibility and 10+ years of product support.
