# System initscripts

`meta-qcom` and `meta-qcom-distro` added the system initscripts to the image as follows:

| System initscripts | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `android-tools-adbd.service` | Provides the adbd daemon on the device. |
| `logrotate.service` | Archives old logs.<br><br><br>Modify the `rsyslog.logrotate` configuration file in Qualcomm<br>Linux to manage on-device logs. The modified `rsyslog.logrotate` file is<br>in the `meta-qcom-distro/recipes-extended/rsyslog/files` directory. This<br>file overrides the default configuration file provided by<br>`meta-openembedded/meta-oe/recipes-extended/rsyslog/rsyslog/rsyslog.logrotate`. |
| `rsyslog.service` | Redirects logs according to a specified configuration. |
