# Develop an application

Note

Qualcomm Visual Studio Code Extension isn’t available in the QLI 2.0 RC3 release. It will be available in a future release.

You can build AI and Multimedia applications on the Qualcomm Dragonwing^™^ RB3 Gen 2 Development Kit using the Qualcomm^®^ Visual Studio Code Extension. It’s an integrated application development environment for Qualcomm development kits. The extension runs on Ubuntu (or WSL with Ubuntu) and facilitates device configuration and software development, including compilation, debugging, and binary flashing.
