# Build overview

The Qualcomm^®^ Robotics RB5 Platform system software consists of a set of software executables that are targeted to the subsystem processors within QRB5165. The QRB5165 software releases include source files, binary files, and build files for each of the software executables in the software system. The release notes document for each system software release provides specific instructions for how to get a copy of the corresponding software release and how to build each software executable in the software system.
