# Secure boot settings

Caution:

- Secure boot enablement is a one time, irreversible process. It involves the blowing of fuses, which should be exercised with extreme caution. It would be better to enable secure boot under guidance.
- After enabling secure boot, flash the device using the VIP procedure. QFIL and fastboot do not work.
