# USB and DisplayPort concurrency

The DisplayPort can use the two and four high-speed data lanes in USB-Type-C and
    provide 4K ˟ 2K display resolution at 60 fps with USB3 concurrency.

The following are the resolutions with  and without USB3 concurrency:

- With USB3 concurrency (2 lanes) – 1 ˟ 3840 x 2160 at 24 bpp (DP SST) 60 Hz
- Without USB3 concurrency (4 lanes) – 1 ˟ 4096 x 2160 at 30 bpp (DP SST) 60 Hz
- QMP SS-PHY can be programmed into several modes; three possible modes (not all may be supported):
    - SS-USB only
    - SS-USB and DP
    - DP only
