# Check network status and connectivity

Use the <cite>ping</cite> command to check connectivity:

> qcc74x />ping 10.226.196.69
>     60 bytes from 10.226.196.69 icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=696 ms
>     60 bytes from 10.226.196.69 icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=71 ms
>     60 bytes from 10.226.196.69 icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=14 ms
>     60 bytes from 10.226.196.69 icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=7 ms
>     Ping Done. Statistic is: 4 sent 4 received
>     Copy to clipboard
