# Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have the following:

- A QCC730MI evaluation board
- A UART console connection to the board (115200 8N1)
- An AP with a known SSID and passphrase
- A Host PC on the same LAN subnet as the AP, with `chip-tool` installed
- A QCC730.ZE.1.0 SDK workspace with `west update` completed and `.venv` activated
