Qualcomm® QCA7005 and QCA7006AQ chipsets are HomePlug® Green PHY (HPGP) powerline
communication (PLC) solutions designed for electric vehicle (EV) charging applications.
These chipsets enable standards-based communication between EVs and charging stations,
support smart grid connectivity, and provide interoperability across the Qualcomm PLC
product family.
The following table highlights the key standards, EV charging support, and migration
capabilities of the QCA7005 and QCA7006AQ PLC chipsets.
| Category | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Standards | Supports HomePlug GreenPHY, HomePlug AV, and IEEE 1901
standards |
| EV charging | Supports CCS and NACS ecosystem for EV charging applications. |
| Migration | Provides interoperability and footprint/pin compatibility across
the QCA7000, QCA7005, and QCA7006AQ product family. |
