# Motion change detection (MCD)

Once enabled, the MCD feature allows the device to captures motion/stationary states
        and provide alerts to the Aware cloud.

**Use case**

- Enable the **MOTION CHANGE DETECTION (MCD)** from Dashboard.

Note: There is an optional feature support when enabling the MCD feature. This allows
                the user to set the custom reporting when device is stationary. Currently stationary
                reporting support 4, 12, and 24 hours.
