# Features
The display subsystem is a software component that enables high-quality
graphics and video output on devices. The subsequent sections explain
the key features of the display subsystem along with the capabilities,
advanced features, and limitations.

Tab QCS9075/QCS8275
**Key features**
The display subsystem supports the following key features:
- Upstream Wayland protocol with extended support from Qualcomm
- Weston with Snapdragon display manager (SDM) backend module
- DisplayPort over USB Type-C (SST)
- DSI 1.2
- Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) 1.4 for embedded panels
- MIPI DSI D-PHY
- Unified extensible firmware interface (UEFI)
**Capabilities**
The device supports two displays simultaneously and offers various configurations for maximum concurrency. The following table summarizes the capabilities.
Table : Capabilities and configurations
| DSI 0 |
|
| --- | --- |
| DSI 0 to HDMI | 1920 × 1080p at 60 fps |
| DisplayPort |
3840 × 2160 resolution at 30 fps, 24 bpp (requires two
lanes at HBR3)
Single stream transport
Concurrent functionality of DisplayPort and USB 3.0
|
| eDP | |
| Maximum concurrency |
FHD+ (1200 × 2520) (8‑bit) at 60 fps with DSI primary + 4K at 30 fps DisplayPort
Or
1920 × 1080p at 60 fps with DSI to HDMI primary + 4K at 30 fps DisplayPort
Or
1920 × 1080p at 60 fps with eDP primary + 4K at 30 fps DisplayPort
|
**Advanced features**
Note
This content is applicable to QCS6490/QCS5430.
The display subsystem is designed to enhance the visual performance and
efficiency of the device. A key feature of the display subsystem is to
provide improved picture quality with HDR10 support for internal
display. This feature is available to licensed developers with authorized access.
**Limitations**
The DSI and the embedded DisplayPort (eDP) cannot work at the same time. Only one of these interfaces can be used to power up the primary panel at a time.
