# Dynamic configuration

A common scenario in Edge AI applications is changing the image resolution at runtime
        for minimal frame loss or gap in the display, or adding and removing several streams for
        camera reconfiguration. Dynamic configuration sample applications allow you to perform these
        changes.

The **gst-activate-deactivate-streams-runtime-example** application allows you to         change the resolution dynamically without the need to reconfigure the camera         sensor.

The **gst-add-remove-streams-runtime** application allows you to add or remove         several camera streams dynamically during runtime.
