# `meta-qcom-extras`

This layer is an optional metadata layer for registered users and allows source compilation of select
components that are otherwise provided as binaries in the `meta-qcom` layer. The `meta-qcom-extras` metadata layer
currently does not include any recipes; support will be added in future releases.
