# Acquire an Ubuntu environment

To acquire the Ubuntu-base, update the tar package ([http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-base/releases/20.04/release/ubuntu-base-20.04.3-base-arm64.tar.gz](http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-base/releases/20.04/release/ubuntu-base-20.04.3-base-arm64.tar.gz)) from the list of Ubuntu-base releases ([https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-base/releases/](https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-base/releases/)).
