# Debug issues

When you run the configurator over a search space, it creates a set of files in the output directory. If you don’t specify an output directory, the configurator creates the `model_configurator_output/` directory in
the directory where you run the command.

The model configurator log files/directories are:

- `model_configurator.log`: Main application log file.
- `results.csv`: The final results.
- `compiled_models`: Directory containing compiler outputs. Unless you specify the `-retain-binaries` command line option, directory is removed at application close.
