# Enable a peripheral interface in TrustZone

All TrustZone drivers and their configs are in `core/settings/buses/`.

Add the instance definitions to the TrustZone config source, declare the instance, and uncomment it in the config XML.

The following files contain the I^2^C and SPI configs in TrustZone.

- I^2^C

    - `settings/buses/i2c/qupv3/config/glymur/tz/i2c_devcfg_user.c`
    - `settings/buses/i2c/qupv3/config/glymur/tz/i2c_devcfg_user.h`
    - `settings/buses/i2c/qupv3/config/glymur/tz/i2c_devcfg.xml`
- SPI

    - `settings/buses/spi/qupv3/config/glymur/tz/spi_devcfg_user.c`
    - `settings/buses/spi/qupv3/config/glymur/tz/spi_devcfg_user.h`
    - `settings/buses/spi/qupv3/config/glymur/tz/spi_devcfg.xml`

1. Add the definitions for the required instance in the `*_user.c` file.

    For example:

// settings/buses/spi/qupv3/config/glymur/tz/spi\_devcfg\_user.c

spi\_plat\_device\_config\_user spi\_device\_user\_config\_qup1\_se3 = {

2. Declare the required instance in the `*_user.h` file.

    For example:

// settings/buses/spi/qupv3/config/glymur/tz/spi\_devcfg\_user.h

#define TZ\_USE\_SPI\_12 // TPM SPI
3. Uncomment the required instance in the `.xml` file.

    For example:

// settings/buses/spi/qupv3/config/glymur/tz/spi\_devcfg.xml

<props name=”TOP\_QUP\_1\_SE\_3” type=DALPROP\_ATTR\_TYPE\_STRUCT\_PTR>
spi\_device\_user\_config\_qup1\_se3
