# USB controller interrupts Each USB controller uses PHY, power event, and main controller interrupts. The listed interrupt numbers don’t include the offset of 32 that the interrupt manager adds. The following table lists the primary USB controller interrupts, their number, wakeup and kernel handling, and comments. | Interrupt name | Interrupt number | PDC wakeup | Kernel handling | Comments | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | `dp_hs_phy_irq` | 90 | DP changes | — | Only used when the system is in VDD min or XO shutdown. | | `dm_hs_phy_irq` | 60 | DM changes | — | Only used when the system is in VDD min or XO shutdown. | | `ss_phy_irq` | 17 | LFPS detection | — | Only used when the system is in VDD min or XO shutdown. | | `pwr_event_irq` | 371 | — | USB PHY power state changes; transitions into or out of P3/L2 | Main controller wake-up handle when the system isn’t in power-collapse. | | `irq` | 140 | — | Bus events; suspend; resume; reset; controller event completion;
transfer completion; command completion | Main USB interrupt that handles all USB controller events. | The following table lists the secondary USB controller interrupts, their number, wakeup and kernel handling, and comments. | Interrupt name | Interrupt number | PDC wakeup | Kernel handling | Comments | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | `dp_hs_phy_irq` | 89 | DP changes | — | Only used when the system is in VDD min or XO shutdown. | | `dm_hs_phy_irq` | 81 | DM changes | — | Only used when the system is in VDD min or XO shutdown. | | `ss_phy_irq` | 75 | LFPS detection | — | Only used when the system is in VDD min or XO shutdown. | | `pwr_event_irq` | 370 | — | USB PHY power state changes; transitions into or out of P3/L2 | Main controller wake-up handle when the system isn’t power collapsed. | | `irq` | 871 | — | Bus events; suspend; resume; reset; controller event completion;
transfer completion; command completion | Main USB interrupt that handles all USB controller events. | The following table lists the tertiary USB controller interrupts, their number, wakeup and kernel handling, and comments. | Interrupt name | Interrupt number | PDC wakeup | Kernel handling | Comments | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | `dp_hs_phy_irq` | 89 | DP changes | — | Only used when the system is in VDD min or XO shutdown. | | `dm_hs_phy_irq` | 80 | DM changes | — | Only used when the system is in VDD min or XO shutdown. | | `ss_phy_irq` | 75 | LFPS detection | — | Only used when the system is in VDD min or XO shutdown. | | `pwr_event_irq` | 370 | — | USB PHY power state changes; transitions into or out of P3/L2 | Main controller wake-up handle when the system isn’t in power-collapse. | | `irq` | 871 | — | Bus events; suspend; resume; reset; controller event completion;
transfer completion; command completion | Main USB interrupt that handles all USB controller events. | ## Related - [USB controller reset control](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-A0399-8/topic/usb-controller-reset-control.html) - [Enable a USB controller in Device mode](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-A0399-8/topic/enable-usb-controller-device-mode.html) - [Configure UEFI USB](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-A0399-8/topic/configure-uefi-usb.html) Last Published: Sep 17, 2026 [Previous Topic USB controller clocks](https://docs.qualcomm.com/bundle/publicresource/80-A0399-8/topics/usb-controller-clocks.md) [Next Topic USB controller reset control](https://docs.qualcomm.com/bundle/publicresource/80-A0399-8/topics/usb-controller-reset-control.md)
