Include the traditional header **`<iostream.h>`**
to effectively include the standard header
[`<iostream>`](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-N3040-23/topic/cpp_iostream.html) and hoist its
names outside the
[`std`](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-N3040-23/topic/cpp_lib_cpp.html#std%20namespace) namespace.

In this
[implementation](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-N3040-23/topic/cpp_index.html#implementation), *all*
names are hoisted, to provide a more traditional library environment.

    using namespace std;Copy to clipboard

In this
[implementation](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-N3040-23/topic/cpp_index.html#implementation),
`<iostream.h>` does
*not* declare the
[wide oriented](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-N3040-23/topic/cpp_lib_file.html#wide%20oriented)
stream objects
`wcin`,
`wcout`,
`wcerr`, and
`wclog`.
