# Introduction

The Qualcomm® Hexagon™ processor development tools are a set of software tools that enable developers to create software for the Qualcomm Hexagon processor.

The tools are intended for software engineers with entry-level-or-above skills in the C language and DSP software development. The tools are hosted on the Windows and Linux platforms.
