# QRB5165 power management ICs

The QRB5165 chipset has the following PMICs:
- SPMI for PM8250, PM8150L/PM8150A, PM8150B, PMK8002, PMX55, and PM8009
- I^2^C for SMB1355 and SMB1390

The following are the details listed for each PMIC:

- Even distribution between two core PMICs (PM8250 and PM8150L/PM8150A)
- Improved PMIC partitioning for better routing efficiency, less noise, and better thermal
    - Display power and flash located at the top
    - Charger located at the bottom next to the Type-C connector
- PM8250 is optimized for QRB5165 chipset
    - The only change of PM8250 from PM8150 is the internal OTP memory to support power grid and power-on sequence required for QRB5165 chipset.
- Only one of either PM8150L or PM8150A is required in the system.
    - PM8150L is dedicated for LCD display power supply in addition to serving as a core PMIC.
    - PM8150A is dedicated for AMOLED display power supply in addition to serving as a core PMIC.
- PM8009: for QCA639x and camera
    - 2 HF-SMPS
    - LDOs
- PM3003A-5: Buck regulator for a DDR rail
