# Set up QESDK

## About this task

Setting up QESDK involves the following steps:

1. Get the license for QESDK features  ([Contact us for a license key](https://www.qualcomm.com/support/contact/forms/qesdk-license-key-request))
2. Create a project for the sample application on Android-Studio.
3. Add libraries to the application project; see [Add libraries](https://docs.qualcomm.com/doc/80-PV345-88/topic/Add_libraries.html).
4. Build and deploy the sample application on the hardware (a QTI-supplied
                    reference device or a QESDK-compatible 8 Gen 2 or newer handset).
